I've posted Shine and Putney Bridge on garageband.com. For those unfamiliar, this website is about musicians and music freaks reviewing and rating songs. Reviews are blind - the reviewer doesn't know who they're listening to. The reviewers are also reviewed, to insure fairness and some degree of objectivity. Reviews produce chart ranking and song rating based on a five star system.

From garageband.com:
"The five-star display is graded on a steep curve: almost 65% of songs receive 2.5 - 3.5 stars, and only the top 1% of songs receive more than 4.5 stars".

bobwhite – Shine - 4.6 STARS!!!   Currently #77 - Indie Rock chart (started at #312 on 2/16).
What they're saying about bobwhite Shine:
I really enjoyed this song, the vocals are Very good and the lyrics are catchy and memorable. Plain and simple, I have nothing bad to say about this song, it was well recorded and the instruments sound flawless! - Canada

I like the vocals and the acoustic guitar as well. Nice feel to the track, smooth. - Baltimore, Maryland

The drums and bass supply a nice hip foundation…During the verses the singer tastefully uses space between his lyrics. The chorus changes up melodically which is nice.. Ooh! Very cool piano line at around 2:30. i liked that! Very original singing. It's putting a smile on my face. - Hollywood, California

A nice simple song performed well. Musicianship is very good…all the sounds were very clean and crisp...Didn't remind me of anyone - but that's a good thing in my book.- United Kingdom

Nice crisp recording. The guitars sound really good. The harmonies warm it up really well ... The tempo is cool - it has quite a bright feeling to it. The drums are tight. Good. - United Kingdom

you have some nice groove and melody going on. The sound of the acoustic guitar works well and so does the subtle second guitar that comes in. The voice is fine and it doesn't even seem too long at 4 minutes. - Australia

The production was very clean & polished …a nice feeling of space. The drum track was really tight and had a good sound to it. The bass was punchy & minimal, it fitted well. The guitars were well recorded & the timing was good. - United Kingdom

bobwhite's the shit! Dude flat out rocks. - Stockton, CA

Hey! How'd that last one slip in there? The rest of them were authentic.
