Hi Folks! Is it really August already?

  I have recently completed a 10 date tour of Bulgaria. No, really! Now, I am taking antibiotics, sorting legal issues (I think I inadvertantly got married to the Governor of Burgas' daughter), writing a story about my (mis)adventures and, oh, I'm working on my new CD too. Decided I should be playing more dates too, so I am booking shows in between recording dates.

  Next Saturday, August 18, I'll be playing two shows at the Modesto Art & Wine Festival in sunny Modesto, CA.
- At 3PM, I'll be on the Main Stage (Bank of the West Stage) and
- at 6PM I'll be playing at the Fat Cat Music House and Lounge.

  Promises to be a great event - an entire city block, with five stages, over 30 musical acts, 100 local artists, a massive kids area with 12 art tents and, of course, copius wine tasting.

Where: Downtown Modesto, between 10th and 11th St, from J St. to I St
When: 10 AM to 10 PM, Saturday August 18
Why: bobwhite! Twice - 3PM and 6PM
How much: $10. Kids under 16 are free!

  Also, please note that I will be returning to San Francisco in October, playing at the Red Vic Sessions again on 10/25. More dates to be announced soon!
